Nature vs Nurture: Not That Simple
In 2022, we turned the lens of neuroscience onto the age-old debate about gender differences. Led by renowned cognitive neuroscientist Professor Gina Rippon, we challenged traditional views of how boys, girls, men, and women are intrinsically different. Gina shared insights from her book The Gendered Brain, addressing misconceptions and offering alternative perspectives on gender and the brain. Through her work on brain plasticity and the Social Brain Model, we explored how social and cultural influences shape our understanding of gender equality.
